Over the course of 24 months, our partnership is developing a suite of interconnected resources, each designed to be practical, accessible, and built on real evidence. Here is what is taking shape.
A Competence Framework and Curriculum
The foundation of everything we are building is a research-driven Competence Framework that maps the core skills and knowledge social entrepreneurs need to navigate crises effectively. Led by Social Innovation Cluster CLM and Building Ukraine Together, this framework is being developed through expert consultations, field research across four countries, and direct input from educators and social enterprise practitioners. It will be translated into English, Spanish, German, and Ukrainian.
Modular Training Resources
From the framework, we are developing a structured training course of at least six modules, covering everything from risk assessment and financial resilience to leadership under pressure and post-crisis recovery. Alongside the course, educators will have access to a toolbox of at least 20 practical tools, including templates, strategic guides, and frameworks that social enterprises can apply immediately. An educator package with train-the-trainer materials will support anyone delivering this content in their own programmes.
A Digital Self-Assessment Application
Perhaps the most innovative element of our work is a digital assessment tool being developed by The Vision Works. Social entrepreneurs will be able to complete a structured self-assessment, receive a personalised feedback report, and be directed towards the learning resources most relevant to their situation. It is a practical, scalable way to bring crisis resilience education directly to the people who need it, at their own pace, in their own language.
An Interactive Knowledge Hub
All of these resources will be hosted on a dedicated Knowledge Hub, developed by Feltech, which will also include curated additional content, a peer learning network, and community features that allow educators and social entrepreneurs to share experiences and best practices across borders.
Everything we are building will be freely accessible, designed for long-term use well beyond the project’s funding period, and built to genuinely change how crisis resilience is taught and practised in the social enterprise sector across Europe.
